Considering he’s one of the most recognized figures globally, it’s not surprising that many people are well-informed about Donald Trump.
Of course, there’s probably a lot that remains unknown, but generally, his life, habits, and behaviors are examined so thoroughly that there’s little that doesn’t eventually reach the public eye.

This includes his bedtime routine, which was revealed in Melania Trump’s memoir, Melania: A Memoir, released last year.
Trump has previously spoken about his sleep patterns, stating that during his first term in the White House, he typically got only four to five hours of sleep each night. That’s an alarmingly low amount, as most of us would agree, but perhaps it’s to be expected when you hold what is arguably the most significant and demanding position in the world.
While I doubt many people were particularly interested in this information, First Lady Melania shared more about the President’s bedtime habits during an appearance on Fox News’ The Five to promote her memoir in 2024.
“He doesn’t sleep much,” Melania confirmed about her husband at that time. She then added, “He does, of course.”

One of the most telling moments she shared occurred when Fox News panelist Greg Gutfeld inquired if Trump ‘wears pyjamas’. Melania quickly responded with a firm ‘no’.
Gutfeld then followed up, asking, “What does he wear when he sleeps, Melania?”
At that point, Melania made a gesture as if zipping her lips shut.
Naturally, if you keep up with news about Trump, you’re likely aware that the president’s sleeping habits have recently been a topic of discussion, especially after a CNN reporter highlighted some frustrations about traveling the globe with Trump as he conducts his affairs.

Kaitlan Collins, the Chief White House Correspondent for CNN, was a guest on the Trading Secrets podcast last month, where she discussed insights from unnamed sources who frequently travel with Trump on Air Force One.
“I had this source who mentioned that you never want to be on Air Force One during a trip, and I asked, ‘Why?’ You would assume being close to Trump would be desirable,” Collins explained.
Collins hinted that some individuals find it challenging to adjust to Trump’s sleeping patterns when they are on a long flight with him.
“He doesn’t sleep during these journeys, and if you’re heading to Asia or somewhere, that’s typically the only chance you have to rest before the trip, but Trump is always awake and chatting,” Collins revealed.
“He’ll even have them wake up staff if they’re dozing off because he wants to engage with them.”
